2 Month Portraits

Grayson had his two month portraits taken today!

Dinner with Friends

Grayson had his first "play date" last night with friends whose Moms work with Kelly.

He was all dressed up for the dinner date, but we decided that 70 degrees was actually a bit warm for fleece...but we took a picture before we changed anyway because he was just so darn cute. Here are the 3 boys: Grant, Grayson and Dallas.
As you can see - it proved impossible to get all three to look at the camera and smile! And here are their mommies who loved planning for babies and being pregnant together!

8 weeks old today!

Grayson is eight weeks old today! If you ask us during the day, the time has flown by. Sometimes in the middle of the night we can't say the same, but Grayson gave us a nice present on the eve of his two month birthday! He slept from 10:30-3:30 last night and then again from 4:00-6:30! What a treat! He still loves to eat - a lot! We think he weighs about 12 pounds now and he's graduated from only milk to milk with a little cereal in his bottle.

He definitely takes after his Mom in that he's a morning person. He loves to roll around on the floor and "talk" and smile for about an hour after he wakes up each day. After that he usually loves his morning nap...He loves to sit in the Bumbo while Mommy works at the kitchen table...
And he still loves his bouncy seat - especially when he gets to sit in it and watch Baby Neptune.
Maybe Baby Neptune is what made him love water so much...
We can't believe how much he's changed in the past month. We can hardly wait to see what the next month brings!

Santa is coming...

Someone told Grayson that Santa is coming...

Grayson "helped" pick out our tree! It's a smaller-than-usual variety due to the fact that our family room now looks like Toys-R-Us exploded and there's really no room for a tree!He loves for Mommy to hold him while he looks at the lights! It's never too early to make friends in high places!

Thanksgiving Holiday

You would think by the looks of Grayson's big belly and chipmunk cheeks that he had eaten the entire Thanksgiving turkey. Actually he just REALLY likes his milk. He now
weighs 10lbs. 8 oz.

On Thanksgiving Grayson helped his Daddy fry the turkey at Nana's house.
Then the next day we all went hiking at Mill Creek Lake with Nana.
After Thanksgiving we spent some quality time at Grammy and Poppa's place.

Grayson got to meet Kelly's friend Kim. He seems pretty comfy with Kim!

And Dana and Mark came to see the new addition to the family, too!
