3.5 months

We took a spur of the moment trip down to Charlotte to see Kelly's friend Emily and meet her new baby Allison. The boys (Steve and Mike) went mountain biking while Kelly and Emily hung out with the babies! Allison's big sister, Lauren, showed us what we have to look forward to when Grayson is older!

This past week brought Grayson's first day at the daycare center. He wore a shirt with his name printed on it so they'd know who he was! They think he's awfully cute - but he's not sure what he thinks about daycare just yet.
His favorite time is still hanging out at home.
I guess we know what Santa will bring Grayson next year. New tricks - can't quite sit up on his own, but the Boppy helps!

Learning new things...

Grayson actually played with a toy for the first time!

Back to work!

Kelly went back to work this past week. So that means Grayson gets to spend the day with Grant (sitting) and EmmaLou (the furry one in the back). Kelly's friend Sara is keeping Grayson until the daycare spot opens at the end of the month.When he gets home at night he's especially sleepy from all that play! He'll fall asleep while Dad is holding him......and on the couch with Mommy...
... and on the bed with Mack...
But all that play and rest have made Grayson a very happy boy!

Happy New Year

We got to enjoy a long weekend at home to ring in the New Year.

We kicked off the weekend with the VT vs. UGA game. Good thing Grayson fell asleep in the second quarter. Wish we all had.

On New Year's Day we took a walk on the Huckleberry.
And still unable to make it more than three hours without food, Grayson had lunch on the trail.

Then we said goodbye to our 2006 Christmas tree!

First Christmas Fun!

We all had a wonderful Christmas! We spent time in Amherst, Lynchburg, and Williamsburg with friends and family.

We started the holiday with one last Sunday in the family church before the congregation moves to the new church.

Grayson wore his first ever Christmas PJ's on Christmas Eve. He'll get new PJ's every Christmas Eve!

Grayson wasn't as excited as we were to open presents on Christmas morning.

The day after Christmas we got our first glimpse of another friend for Grayson...Jennifer and Erik are expecting him in April!

After Christmas we went to Williamsburg. Nana spoiled Grayson and even let him nap with her on the couch. He also got to play on his new quilt with his new toy!
