February Fun

I can't believe it's already close to the end of February! Time is really flying. This month has been filled with lots of family time. We've been to see our parents and they've also been to see us. Grayson loves seeing his Grammy, Grandpa, and Nana. Grayson finally got another tooth - though this one is oddly a molar on the top. He still just has his two little teeth on the bottom! He weighs about 23 pounds now and has grown to be about 28 inches tall, though he's still the smallest little boy in his class. He really seems to enjoy daycare now and even has some "friends" that he always seems to hang out with there. Apparently he has a reputation for hugging all the kids, but failing to end the hug before he tackles them to the ground. And he's a big climber who especially likes to climb onto the lunch table and walk across it while everyone is eating. They tell me he's a great eater at daycare, but I'm not sure I believe them. Sometimes getting him to eat dinner can be a chore. I've decided that a banana and yogurt constitute a well-balanced dinner. At his Nana's urging we finally broke down and gave him some chocolate for Valentine's Day, but he doesn't seem to be really fond of sweets. He'd much rather have his banana. He's beginning to talk more now. Some of his favorite words are tractor, shoe and kitty cat - but he's still working on Mommy. He loves to play Ring Around the Rosie and If You're Happy And You Know It. And when he feels like showing off he can show you his belly, head, hair, ears, eyes, and toes!

Sometimes while Steve and I eat dinner Grayson likes to read all of his books at one time. His Grammy and Grandpa gave his this rocking chair which he loves to sit in and watch Baby Einstein. Unfortunately he also like to stand in it.

Looks like it might be time for another haircut.

Grayson loved his Nana's Frosty.

Fun in the boxwoods at Uncle Russell's house. This used to be Kelly's fort when she was little.

Grayson and his Nana.

He got to "drive" the old tractor at Uncle Russell's. He loves tractors!!
