Steve is such a fun Daddy that Grayson thought he would get him a longboard for Father's Day. No ties for this Dad! After his surfing lessons in California, I think Steve really wanted a surfboard, but we had to remind him that he lives in Southwest Virginia. So.....the longboard is a close substitute. Grayson rode it into Daddy in the kitchen but didn't master the concept of gift-giving very well. He kept calling it "mine." So now it hides in the garage except when Steve takes it out for a spin. He's already been able to ride around the neighborhood a few times and is working on figuring out how to stop!
Then Grayson decided to get in on the action, too. He LOVES mimicking anything Daddy or Grandpa does with tools. He thinks the tape measure is now his toy. And he kept looking for anything with srews to tighter with the screwdriver.
We also gave Grayson play-dough for the first time. He wasn't exactly sure what to think of it, but loved it when I made snakes ("ssssssss, as Grayson calls them) out of it.
