Steve and I are lucky enough to have some vacation time to take so this winter we're trying to take off one day a week to do something fun together while the boys area in daycare. Last week we were going to Snowshoe for the day. Here are pics from our Snowshoe day...

So...Steve decided it might be a better day for kayaking. We drove to the Maury where Steve did a super quick run and I ran shuttle.
After that we had a lovely lunch at Matsumoto Sushi in Lexington and then finished up shopping for the boys for Christmas. Steve's parents were nice enough to pick up the boys from daycare which gave us a chance to go to our favorite bar downtown and have some yummy burgers and beverages before returning home for the evening. This week we were again planning to go to Snowshoe, but ended up looking at motocycles and minivans (resulting in a purchase of neither!). Hopefully winter will arrive sometime soon and we actually will be able to dust off our snowboards and hit the slopes!
