No pictures for this post! I read a friend's blog about potty training and it made me wonder if Grayson was getting close. I think he goes through the motions just so he can get to the final prize of flushing the toilet which thrills him almost as much as Thomas the Train! So he has all the steps down:
So...no real progress on the actual potty training yet since he goes through these steps only when he is either bored, walks past the bathroom, or I ask "Do you have to poop?"
But here's the funny part...just recently whenever I change his diaper he says, "I wanna see poop." So not only do I get to clean up and dispose of toddler poop, I also have to show it to him if I want to avoid a meltdown with a dirty, naked toddler. I'm trying to tell myself that maybe this is his first step toward training. I understand that's probably a longshot, but I'm allowed a dream!
1) Place step stool in front of toilet.
2) Put potty seat on potty.
3) Climb on potty.
4) Do your business (here's where he can't seem to follow instructions!)
5) Get TP (he enjoys massive quantities of TP which makes me laugh since he has, thus far, failed to produce any goods from the aformentioned #4)
6) Flush
7) Wash hands (which he does really well, but takes 5 minutes to do so which, let's be honest, is a drag for a parent especially when all has been a futile effort anyway).

You crack me up! Good luck to Grayson on his potty training!
Oh, just wait until he is at preschool one day, takes OFF his diaper and runs around showing his "poop" to everyone! Peyton ran naked WITH her poopy diaper, down the isle of the church during chapel! Talk about getting sent to the principals office.
