Amazement Square

Recently we went to Amazement Square in Lynchburg. I can't believe my sister and Amherst/Lynchburg friends hadn't told me more about this place! What a GREAT place to take children. Luke slept in the Ergo for the whole day, of course, but Grayson had a blast. We were there with my sister and her kids and all of them ages 1-8 had a great time. Well worth the drive and the cost of admission. We'll be going again soon, I'm sure!

Here's Grayson and Cameron painting in the room with glass walls.

Making a little music in the Native American exhibit.

Playing "tee pee" with Peyton.

Grayson loved the train table - the blurs in the background are Peyton and Addison.

Learning about a batteau.

Learning about the James River.

Watching Grayson's boat float down the river.

Grayson loved the pretend cabin with the play kitchen. He was very concerned, though, that once he made us a plate of apples that there wasn't a table to sit around to eat.
