Safari Park

This weekend we met some friends from my office at Safari Park outside of Natural Bridge. You can either drive your car through the open air park (which I would never consider) or pay a few extra bucks to ride on a wagon behind a tractor. The animals are tame and come right up to the wagon to eat out of your feed bucket. The boys really loved it!

After the wagon ride you can walk through a petting zoo area that includes babies who aren't ready for the "wild" yet.
Luke would have snuggled up with some of the animals if allowed.

Kim and my cheeseball. Kim and April helped with the boys on the wagon. I certainly couldn't have kept up with both of them without the extra hands!

April and Luke. We're trying to get Luke used to April since she works in the nursery at the church where Steve and I have been trying to attend. So far - no dice.

Grayson and April feeding the water buffalo.

An ostrich enjoying some treats from Grayson.

Don't know what these are, but they have VERY big horns and got a little too cozy for our comfort.

The llamas were my favorite.
