Luke loves water so I thought I would give a waterslide a try. I braved Wal-Mart one Saturday and found a cheap one for $5. What the heck - we'll give it a shot. Turns out that it was well-worth the $5. Both boys really enjoyed it, but Luke especially. He must have walked up the hill about 40 times only to slide right back down. Even though I noticed that his belly was getting red I didn't have the heart to stop him. I probably should have - the next day he had raw strawberries on his belly. They're still there now two weeks later. Poor kid. From the looks of his face, though, he'd probably say it was worth it!
While my Mom was visiting that weekend we took the boys fishing at the Duck Pond.
