Farm Party

Last weekend we went to WV to stay with Joe and Angela again to enjoy some mountain biking, a farm party with old friends, and a bridal shower for one of our girlfriends. We had told the boys that we would be going to a party at The Farm (which is what we've always called Tim Ed's place). The boys were a little disappointed to learn that there would be no barn, tractor, or animals. I pacified them by telling them we could go fish in the pond only to find out that the field to the pond hadn't been mowed and was about 3 feet high in wheat. So....with a little imagination and fortunately 2 very adaptable toddlers, we turned Tim Ed's hot tub into a fishing pool.

The Daddy's had a long, hard, well-hydrated day on the river earlier, so Daddy's bedtime ended up happening before sundown.

The boys were super excited about the campfire.

Sunday evening Angela and I headed to Lewisburg to celebrate with Eileen who will be marrying Larry in October at the Greenbrier. We're all looking forward to a fun weekend!

This is Luke on the way home Monday morning. Yes - he's about as fun to travel with as it looks.
