Christmas Lesson

We decided that this year would be a good year to begin teaching the boys about the joys of buying for others. Both boys took money out of their own piggy banks to buy each other presents this year. We employed the "matching funds" policy and kicked in an equal amount so they would be able to get a little bit more of a toy.

Steve too Grayson to buy Luke a gift and I took Luke to buy Grayson a gift. Luke was thrilled to pick out something for his brother and unroll his dollar bills at the cash register. He actually made a thoughtful choice and chose a little four wheeler pulling a trailer with a dog in it for Grayson. Grayson enjoyed Dana's dog Pringle so much that Luke thought he would enjoy pulling this little dog around in the trailer. He also chose a plane for Grayson, I think because the two of them have been fighting over the same little matchbox plane at home for about a week now. He was very excited to get the gifts home and wrapped before Grayson got back.
