Our trip to Disney (pictures posted soon!) and decision to drive instead of fly gave us the opportunity to stop by Dana's on Sullivan's Island for a quick visit on each end of the trip. I'll have to admit that the stop at Dana's was definitely one of the best parts of the trip. The boys had never been to Dana's and Dana and I rarely see each other. She has a beautiful house on Sullivan's and has perfected the art of making all guests feel welcome in her home. The boys were super excited to find bowls of M&M's just sitting out and about. We lucked out that her tangerine tree was loaded which provided both entertainment and treats. The golf cart to the beach and the candy store was probably more exciting than the Teacups at Disney. For the adults Dana treated us to an amazing dinner with stone crab claws. What a treat! And Pringle! God Bless this dog. Admittedly, the dog has a pedigree and has been professionally trained, but I daresay you would never find another dog who was quite as tolerant of two smitten boys as this cutie pie.
Dana, Mom, and Me enjoying a little time out on the beach.
Our attempt at a family Christmas photo. Would have been much cuter if I'd remembered to bring the santa hats.

Grayson playing fetch with Pringle. Pringle is definitely a Momma's boy. Sometime he wouldn't even let the ball go until he got the go ahead from Dana.
Grayson felt so important walking Pringle. He loves that little dog!
A little trip on the golf cart to The Co-Op for some penny candy. All sorts of novelty candy and what do my two want? Dum Dums. I was familiar with taking the golf cart down the back roads to the beach, but I'll have to admit I was a little surprised when Dana turned onto the main road with double yellow lines and all. Apparently on Sullivan's Island it's completely acceptable to drive your golf cart on the main roads. I did learn, though, that you can only drive at night if your cart is equipped with seat belts.
Back at Dana's house we got to enjoy delicious stone crab claws. Sooooo yummy!
Tom, Mom, and Steve digging in!
Pringle put on his Southern gentleman dinner attire. (And no, Dana doesn't actually dress her dog like this for dinner. This was a costume from a parade Pringle was in.)
The next morning we went for another quick visit out to the beach.

So many possibilities for a caption here...
