Sunday we took Grayson to the PBS Kids Fest in Salem. Elmo was rumored to be there which we thought Grayson might like to see. Apparently every family with a toddler in the greater Roanoke area thought it would be cool to see Elmo, too. It was insanely crowded. Thank God Grayson is too young to really know the difference so we saw the crowd, saw the line to sit in Elmo's lap for a picture, and decided instead to have Steve put Grayson on his shoulders from the sidelines and say "see...there's Elmo" then promptly leave. Outside, though, with more space to enjoy things we did see the local emergency vehicles and also some inflatable play features.

The ladder truck - it was SOOO high!
