Grayson is at such a cute stage right now when he can't quite make sentences but is trying desperately to communicate. So I thought I'd share just a couple of his funny sayings from the past week...
On our drive to his daycare in the mornings the sun has been at just the right angle to shine right in his eyes. So twice this week I've heard "eyes, eyes" coming from the back seat in a desperate attempt to let me know the sun is shining in his eyes. I've tried to tell him to just close his eyes, but for some reason this doesn't register as a command he can quite follow yet.
He now says "beep, beep" if you're in his way. It's his polite way of asking you to please move out of his way. He was trying to squeeze between a recliner and an end table yesterday and he looked at the end table and said, "beep, beep."
When he's ready to get out of his room in the morning he knocks (OK, bangs) on his door which he insists on closing each night. The other morning at about 5:15 he decided he was ready to get up. Both Steve and I were hoping if we ignored the banging it would go away. Finally, instead of the banging we heard Grayson yell "Mommy, Daddy, knock, knock." I guess he was thinking that for some reason we couldn't hear the actual banging.

James would say "sun, sun!" from the backseat if the sun was in his eyes. :) And he would say "eyes, eyes" if the bath water got in his eyes. Very funny!
And it sounds like our second boys are trying to one up each other on size. :)
