We spent the 23rd with my Mom and the Addison side of the family. It had been a long time since that part of the family had all gotten together for a meal. It was really nice to catch up with the ones who were able to make it. We missed Mark and Dana, but it was great seeing the rest of the family. We returned to Blacksburg on the 24th to enjoy a nice, relaxing Christmas Eve together. Rich and Jolene came over and we had snacks and drinks and put out cookies for Santa. The boys are still a little young to really understand the whole "Santa" concept or the true meaning of Christmas, but I think they did understand that everyone was excited about something!
We heard that Santa preferred red wine with his cookies.
Oddly enough, I don't have a clue what they were looking for.
