Honestly, I don't even know the totals. Our December snow had JUST finally melted about 2 days before we got dumped on again in mid-January. And then more on top of that. I think at one point we had about 2 feet of snow. And we have had over a foot of snow in the yard for a least month now. It's really been too much for the boys to even enjoy much. Luke can't walk at all in it. Despite being stuck inside weekends on end, the boys did fairly well.
Luke didn't like to walk in the snow, but I think he wished his trike was 4-wheel drive!
Grayson was a big help with the shovel. For about 4 minutes.
King of the mountain. About a 6 foot mountain of snow beside the driveway.
Steve scoured the New River Valley for sleds. They were all sold out. So we got creative and decided that my kayak would make a good sled. Not so much. Turns out they must really be designed for water of the liquid variety. Steve tried it out first thinking it might really take off down the icy hill. But it barely budged.
And the cabin fever starts to set in....
