Weekend at Nana's House

To break up the monotony of weekend after weekend without being able to get to the park, we decided to head to my Mom's house for a little change of scenery.

Well, sort of. She had as much snow as we did. But she also had a sled which made for a few fun runs down the same hill I remember sledding as a child.

With no break before the woods with trees, we decided it would be best for the boys to always have an adult driver in the sled!

Whoops - the sled got away from us! Nana and Grayson went to retrieve! It's a long walk back up from the ravine where the sled finally came to a halt!

Nana's house also has the distinct advantage of being located close to Amazement Square, a children's museum in Lynchburg. The boys LOVE it when we go there!

Fun with ping pong balls!

Nana helping Luke play farm.

Crawling through the gopher tunnels!

Kelly and Luke stopping for a pic in the tunnels!

Luke sorting his harvest in the farmyard.

Grayson actually ended up spending the night at my sister's house. We snapped a quick family photo when we went to pick him up. Unfortunately, I think this is the first picture of the 4 of us since Memorial Day. The daycare keeps family photos out in each classroom and we've been asked on numerous occasions to update ours! Sorry, Luke, not the best of you, but the rest of us look OK so I think this will have to do!
