I haven't posted in a while because I have been up to my eyeballs in applications at work. It's our busiest time of year, but we finally printed the last letter yesterday and the envelopes are stuffed and ready to be mailed Friday! Yey! So now I have a little bit of a breather and found a few spare minutes to do a few quick updates....Steve and I have both celebrated a birthday recently. Middle-age birthdays are simply less than remarkable.
Steve celebrated the big 37, actually we celebrated a day early since on his actual birthday I was at a conference in Nashville. Call me crazy, but I gave him a skydiving session for his birthday. Grayson loves watching the video Steve had made the last time he went skydiving, so I figured it would be fun for us all to go watch this time!
He also got a new smoker since his old one blew away. Literally - blew away. Anyone who has visited my house won't find this surprising.

And no, the green adirondack chair is not new family room furniture - Steve and I both got one for our birthdays for the deck.
