Technically, a 22 foot Sun Tracker Regency "Party Barge" pontoon. Steve was getting antsy to spend a little cash and I think he was going to come home with something motorized. Fortunately it was this and not a motorcycle! We have all really been enjoying it every weekend since we bought it. We have it docked at a marina at Claytor Lake which is only about 25 minutes door-to-door so we can even take it out in the evening after work for a nice little sunset cruise. We bought it knowing that it would be a huge asset in exposing the boys to the water and also a great opportunity to entertain friends. We look forward to hosting friends who might be looking for a day of R&R on the lake! The company is what makes this boat! My Mom and Rich and Jolene helped us take it out for it inaugural voyage...
Captain Steve on his Party Barge.
The boys love it! Luke regularly acts like a hood ornament refusing to leave his post behind the front gate.
Grayson tends to prefer to watch things from the side. Thankfully, they are both easily entertained just watching things go by.
And of course we're all enjoying being able to jump overboard (well, the boys won't jump just yet) and swim in the lake.
And after a day of playing in the sun and water, naps are always nice!
