I think compound is probably the best descriptor I can find for our friend's place. Travis, a successful lawyer, lives the dream of many men. His estate includes a modest Cape Cod house, God knows how many acres of land, a sailboat, a four wheeler, multiple canoes and kayaks, a motorcycle, a shed bigger than my house, two lovable dogs, a shooting range, a heated chicken coop for fresh eggs, an outdoor cooler for freshly hunted turkeys, a homemade trebuchet for some manly fun, and I'm sure a few other toys I'm forgetting. Needless to say, Steve loves to visit. And now the boys are hooked as well. Our most recent foray into Travisland was the boys' first introduction to weapons...

Steve revisiting his "Pistol Master" days from when he was a State Trooper. We verified he was much better with a pistol than a shotgun! I even tried target shooting with the pistol. I wasn't bad for a novice!
